Role Summary:

This position is available immediately with a possibility of apprenticeship.

The labourer/carpenter is responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor by performing tasks involving physical labour at construction sites to ensure details and deadlines are met in a timely and quality workmanship manner. Labourers are physically fit, hardworking, and able to follow instructions quickly and proficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide support to Site Supervisor through various hands on construction and site tasks

- Compliance with company health and safety training and reporting requirements
- Perform variety of tasks including manual and physical labour
- Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Loading and unloading of vehicles with supplies, equipment, and construction material
- Responsible for own transportation to/from shop - travel to jobsite is provided
- Other duties will be assigned as required

Required Skills & Experience:

- Any prior construction relation experience is an asset




- First aid skills and/or certifications are considered assets
- WHMIS/Fall Arrest/Elevated Lift and other safety certifications are considered assets
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work at heights
