Maison Fumée is a premium shisha and hookah retailer serving Vaughan and the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in a carefully selected range of hookahs, shisha tobacco, charcoal, bowls, hoses, heat management devices, accessories and other products.

We are looking for a reliable, organized and customer-focused General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Woodbridge location.

The Role

As General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the store operates smoothly, professionally and efficiently each day. You will take ownership of the customer experience, staff performance, inventory, merchandising and overall condition of the store.

We are looking for someone who can be trusted to manage the location independently, solve problems as they arise and maintain the high standard of service and presentation expected at Maison Fumée.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily opening, operation and closing of the store
- Provide excellent and professional customer service
- Assist customers with selecting shisha products and accessories
- Manage and support store employees, including scheduling, training and day-to-day supervision
- Ensure employees follow company procedures and customer-service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and identify products that need to be reordered
- Receive, organize and merchandise incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate product displays, pricing and store organization
- Oversee POS transactions and cash handling
- Assist with online, pickup and local delivery orders when required
- Maintain a clean, organized and premium-looking showroom
- Address customer questions, concerns and returns professionally
- Communicate important issues, inventory needs and opportunities to ownership




- Help identify ways to increase sales and encourage repeat business
- Ensure all store policies and applicable regulations are followed
- Take overall responsibility for the store during scheduled shifts

What We're Looking For Previous retail management, store management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of shisha/hookah products is a major asset, but we are willing to consider a robust retail manager who is willing to learn the product category.
