The Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager, New Ventures to lead a new business unit from concept to launch and beyond. This venture focuses on emerging applications of GLP-1 therapies beyond weight loss.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the end-to-end execution of this new business—building from the ground up while tapping into WeightCare’s established clinical, technology, marketing, and operational teams.

What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you have overall P&L; and operational accountability for launching and scaling the venture:

1. Strategy & Roadmap: Own the launch roadmap, business strategy, and performance KPIs.
2. Product, Brand & Customer Experience: Lead brand positioning, website, product experience, and overall customer journey, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience from acquisition through ongoing care.
3. Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate across internal marketing, clinical, operations, technology, legal,



and compliance teams to drive momentum and remove roadblocks.
4. Operations, Regulatory & Compliance: Establish and oversee customer service, fulfillment, clinical, and operational workflows in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and regulatory requirements.
5. Team Leadership: As the venture scales, recruit and lead a dedicated team to drive long-term growth.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Strong track record in project management, cross-functional execution, and leadership.
- Ability to work from our Montreal office 4 days/week.

Preferred:

- Experience in healthcare technology, telemedicine, or regulated industries.
- Background launching new products, business units, or venture-backed startups.
- Experience in consumer-facing (B2C), e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
