Job Title: General Production Worker - Machine Operator The General Labourer – Saw Room is responsible for measuring, cutting, and handling pipe materials within a manufacturing environment. The incumbent operates various saws and hand tools to prepare materials according to production requirements while maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards. Measure and cut pipe materials to required lengths using bandsaws, roller saws, chop saws, and other appropriate equipment.

Load, unload, move, and organize pipe materials and finished products within the work area. Inspect materials and finished cuts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers to meet production goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, plastic, and machine operation. General labor and general production skills in the manufacturing industry. Heavy industrial experience, 1 years.

Experience using a tape measure, forklift, hand tool, and reading blueprints.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications Plastics manufacturing experience.

You will be part of a team of 15-25 people in a tough, heavy industrial setting. Personal protective equipment, including gloves to protect arms, will be provided. The work environment can be hot and demanding, with shifts running from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
