Avantune Canada

Greater Toronto Area

Avantune has been the established mid-market platform of choice for hundreds of companies across Europe for over thirty years, and has served North American customers since 2011. We develop Genialcloud, an integrated platform of Business Applications and Intelligence (ERP, CRM, Document and Workflow, Analytics, IoT and AI). We are family-owned, profitable, and debt-free, now investing to build the same kind of business at scale in North America.

Genialcloud 11, launched in July 2026, introduces Trinity AI as a unified intelligent agent across the platform, a new API architecture built for agentic development, and a customization framework for vertical solutions.

The role

We're looking for a developer to join the Genialcloud platform team, working from home in the Toronto GTA. You'll build and orchestrate AI agents that generate, integrate, and maintain code across real product workflows, in whichever language the context calls for: .NET on the platform core, JavaScript and other tools elsewhere. You'll be assigned to specific platform components over time, and you'll deepen your agentic capability here, on real product, rather than being expected to arrive with all of it.

This isn't theoretical research; it's product that ships.

We mean it about agentic programming: not writing every line by hand, but instructing, guiding, and supervising AI agents that write, test, and integrate code, while you keep control over architecture, quality, and correctness. If you have solid fundamentals and the builder's instinct for it, this is a role you grow into.

What you'll do

- Design and orchestrate AI agents (including Trinity AI integration) to build, extend,

and maintain Genialcloud platform features.
- Work in whichever language the context calls for — .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) on the core, JavaScript and other tools elsewhere — with much of the cross-language reach achieved by directing AI agents.
- Validate, review, and correct agent-generated code; reading and reasoning about code matters more than typing speed.
- Take ownership of specific platform components over time, growing your depth where the product needs it.
- Occasionally join prospect or customer conversations alongside the commercial team, where technical depth adds value.

Who we're looking for

- Solid .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) fundamentals and real development experience: past your first job, comfortable reading and reasoning about production code, though not necessarily senior yet.
- A strong appetite for agentic programming: using AI, LLMs, and agent-orchestration patterns as a daily working tool. Prior agentic experience is a plus, but the aptitude and willingness to work this way is what's essential; we'll develop the depth with you.
- Solid JavaScript. Beyond that, comfort reaching into other languages and tools as a problem needs, which the agentic way of working makes far more accessible than it used to be.
- Strong spoken and written English:

the role occasionally involves prospect and customer meetings, so you can hold a technical conversation with confidence.
- A builder's mindset, and someone who thrives in a small, high-competence team with real ownership.
- Based in the Toronto GTA: the role is work-from-home, with in-person team meetings once a month for review and planning.

Compensation and perks

- Base CA$55,000–60,000, calibrated to your experience, plus a discretionary yearly bonus for strong performance.
- Health benefits.
- Work from home in the Toronto GTA, with in-person team meetings once a month. Reliable home internet and an adequate computer are expected.
- Direct engagement with a small, senior team building product at a serious, profitable mid-market company: real ownership, no intermediating layers.

A note on our process The compensation for this role is fixed and not open to negotiation. It reflects what we pay for this position, calibrated fairly across the team. If the structure works for you, we'd love to hear from you.

How to apply

Apply through our careers page at https://www.avantune.com/careers#dev-toronto In the notes field, include your LinkedIn profile URL, a brief note on what draws you to this role, and a link to something concrete you've built: a repository, a project, or a description of agentic work you've done. We're more interested in seeing how you work than in reading a list of technologies.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Benefits

- Casual dress
- Dental care
