Become a Geriatric Psychiatrist in Nanaimo, focusing on tertiary care and multidisciplinary collaboration. This full time role enhances care for complex patients across various settings. This position in the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry involves joining a team of experts to provide consultation across acute, outpatient, and residential settings.

You will leverage your clinical expertise to improve care quality and program development as part of an innovative system across Vancouver Island. Opportunities also exist for expanding your practice and engaging in educational outreach. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver patient and family consultations in various care settings
- Lead geriatric continuity of care initiatives




- Participate in an 1 in 8 on-call rotation
- Support teaching within undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- Contribute to the development of the Dementia Strategy

Requirements:

- Must be eligible for FRCPC in Geriatric Psychiatry
- Full or provisional BC licensure is required
- Previous fellowship training is advantageous
- Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in First Nations service consultation
