Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Remote, WFH (Canada only)
Reports To: Creative Director
Company: Sticky Greens
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000/year
About Sticky Greens:
Sticky Greens is a brand in pursuit of constant improvement. We don’t change things for the sake of changing them. We improve and innovate incrementally and often, but with big (calculated) swings every once in a while- when our customers and our hearts tell us so. Because we don’t need to be the first, we only want to be the best. And we will achieve that with a focus on making our customers’ sessions with us a little better than the last time.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to help shape and elevate our growing portfolio of brands. This is a hands-on design role that blends creative ideation with exact execution. You’ll contribute to packaging development, in-store marketing, and digital campaigns—bringing ideas to life through thoughtful, cohesive visual storytelling.
This position is ideal for a designer who’s ready to take on more creative ownership, work independently, and collaborate closely with our Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Design & Production
· Create, adapt, and finalize packaging for multiple markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
· Monitor packaging trends and proactively explore new designs, materials and formats.
· Create new designs or evolve existing product designs to maximize retail shelf-appeal and consumer interest.
· Develop photorealistic 3D product renders for provincial board submissions.
· Execute revisions, regional versioning, and production updates across multiple product and packaging lines.
· Work with the Creative Director and production teams to ensure dieline integrity, colour accuracy, and brand consistency.
Branding & Creative Development
· Contribute to the evolution of visual brand identities and guidelines.
· Translate campaign briefs into creative concepts and support the development of new trade and in-store activations.
· Help define and design core brand assets, templates, and repeatable design systems.
Marketing & Asset Creation
· Design and deliver digital and print marketing assets, including signage, merchandising displays, social content, email layouts, website graphics, apparel, and sales presentations.
· Competent skills in video editing would be helpful but not mandatory
· Ensure visual consistency across all brand touchpoints and channels.
Project Management & Workflow
· Manage deadlines and task tracking through project management tools (e.g., Monday, SharePoint).
· Prepare accurate print- and digital-ready files for production.
· Maintain organized file structures and proper archiving.
Desired Skills & Strengths:
· Strong understanding of design principles: layout, composition, typography, and colour theory.
· Ability to balance creative ideation with precise execution.
· Adaptability to various brand styles and the ability to deliver channel-specific content.
· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and interpreting feedback effectively.
· Motion graphics, animation, video editing and 3D skills, with experience in tools such as After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, Shapr3D or KeyShot, and an understanding of lighting, materials and composition to create realistic, brand-aligned motion content, product visuals and digital signage.
· Experience in the legal cannabis industry is an asset but not a requirement.
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of professional design experience in product and packaging design and/or marketing communication design for packaged goods and/or retail brands.
· Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
· Experience with packaging production processes, including dielines, colour management, and regulatory compliance.
This is an ideal chance for anyone interested in a work from home role with a successful, growing company in the cannabis industry. To apply, please submit your resume, your portfolio, and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
