Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of greenhouse plants, including watering, pruning, sticking cuttings, seeding and transplanting.
- Operate irrigation systems efficiently to ensure proper watering schedules and plant hydration.
- Use hand tools such as pruners to support plant health and growth.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks involving bags of soil, pots, or plant trays to support planting and transplanting activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse to promote healthy growth environments.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in controlled indoor environments dedicated to plant growth.
- Work experience in a greenhouse environment and horticultural education is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided.
