Role Description The Group Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing group sales opportunities, including corporate, association, and social group business. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, nurturing existing client relationships, preparing proposals and contracts, and negotiating rates and terms to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Manager collaborates closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting, seamless group bookings, and exceptional guest experiences. The role also involves conducting site visits, representing Hilton Garden Inn Hotel(s) at industry events, maintaining detailed sales reports in CRM systems,
and continuously monitoring market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong group sales and account management skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and relationship building with corporate and group clients.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel sales operations, including creating group proposals, drafting contracts, and collaborating with revenue and operations teams.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar), as well as MS Office applications, for reporting, forecasting, and client communication.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent Hilton Hotels professionally at client meetings and events.
- Solid analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to interpret market data, track performance metrics, and prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment while taking ownership of individual sales targets and results.
- Previous experience in group or corporate hotel sales within the Greater Toronto Area or comparable market is strongly preferred.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience.
- Willingness to travel locally
