Overview:

Our client is a growing, science-driven healthcare organization focused on cutting-edge products and technologies within a highly regulated industry. They are seeking a Head of Global Ethics & Compliance to join their team. The Head of Global Ethics & Compliance will establish and lead the organization’s ethics and compliance function.

This role will develop a scalable global compliance framework, with significant responsibility for North American operations and oversight of international requirements. The position will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional business teams to develop practical policies, processes, and controls that support continued growth while maintaining high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and business integrity.

Responsibilities:

- Build and lead the organization’s global ethics and compliance function, including policies, processes, governance, and internal controls.
- Serve as a senior compliance advisor for North American operations while providing oversight of broader international requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance programs addressing healthcare compliance, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, healthcare professional interactions, promotional practices, conflicts of interest, and third-party risk.
- Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, and other business functions to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
- Advise senior leadership and business teams on compliance matters while balancing risk management with commercial objectives.
- Develop and oversee compliance training, risk assessments, monitoring activities, audits, investigations,



and remediation efforts.
- Establish and manage third-party compliance processes, including due diligence and ongoing oversight of vendors, distributors, partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory and industry developments and translate changes into actionable business guidance.
- Establish compliance reporting, metrics, and dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into key risks and program effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of ethics, accountability, transparency, and compliance throughout the organization.
- Build scalable compliance infrastructure appropriate for a growing, entrepreneurial healthcare organization.

Qualifications:

- Significant in-house ethics and compliance experience within medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, aesthetics, or another highly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of North American compliance requirements; international experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience building, implementing, or significantly enhancing compliance programs within a small to mid-sized or entrepreneurial organization
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, interactions with healthcare professionals, promotional practices, and third-party risk
- Strategic and hands-on approach, with strong business judgment and the ability to build a function and infrastructure from the ground up
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and business stakeholders
- Prior legal experience or a law degree preferred
- Experience managing compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions preferred
- Willingness to travel periodically as needed
