Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with a valid AZ Driver's License to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of our heavy equipment and machinery. We are flexible and are willing to consider the right candidate for full-time, part-time, or semi-retired work. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial and construction equipment, including excavators, track skids, rock trucks, floats, dozers, backhoes, etc.

Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and safely.

Duties

- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment such as excavators, track skids, rock trucks, backhoes, etc.
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, welding, and painting techniques to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Conduct electrical system repairs and ensure all wiring and components meet safety standards
- Operate heavy equipment for testing purposes after repairs to verify proper functionality
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs for all machinery




- Assist with assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment as needed
- Support safety protocols by inspecting equipment for potential hazards and ensuring compliance with industry standards

Requirements

- Valid AZ Driver's License and experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and industrial equipment
- Dealership experience is highly desirable for familiarity with manufacturer specifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge of excavators, track skids, backhoes, rock trucks, dozers, etc.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery when necessary
- Electrical experience related to industrial systems is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for automotive repair and industrial equipment assembly
- Valid certifications in mechanical repair or related fields are advantageous
