We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Duties

- Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial equipment, and machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical systems to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Operate welding equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, and other specialized tools to repair or modify machinery as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Analyze mechanical problems through detailed analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate technical information clearly to ensure safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in a similar industrial maintenance role with a focus on manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with schematics, electrical systems, and industrial electrician practices.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly.
- Effective customer service skills to communicate clearly with team members and support operational needs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial maintenance including proper handling of electrical components and hazardous materials.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
