The company represents leading manufacturers including Bobcat, Kubota, Develon/Doosan, JLG and Lincoln Electric, providing exposure to a broad range of equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Complete repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Maintain rental equipment and customer-owned machinery
- Perform shop repairs and mobile field-service calls
- Inspect equipment and identify required repairs before returning it to service
- Accurately document completed work, parts and service requirements

Qualifications

- Experience repairing heavy-duty, construction or rental equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills across diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in the shop and on service calls
- Experience with compact equipment, aerial lifts or similar machinery
- Robust commitment to safety, workmanship and customer service
- Valid driver’s licence
- Heavy Equipment Technician certification or Red Seal designation preferred
- Northern, remote-site or rotational experience considered an asset

Compensation and Benefits The company is prepared to offer a competitive package based on qualifications and experience:

- Wages of up to $60 per hour
- Company staff housing available
- Travel assistance for rotational employees
- Comprehensive benefits package
- RRSP support available
- Tools may be supplied if required
- Overtime opportunities based on workload and operational requirements
- Local and rotational candidates considered

Employees staying in company housing are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own meals.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This position offers considerably more variety than maintaining a single fleet at a mine site. You will work across multiple equipment types, take ownership of repairs and support customers throughout the region.

The company offers competitive compensation, stable work, strong manufacturer exposure and the opportunity to build a long-term career in Yellowknife.

Qualified technicians are invited to apply confidentially through Twin Staffing.
