Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while contributing to high-quality roofing solutions. Previous construction or handyman experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various hand tools and construction equipment.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up safety barriers.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper waterproofing and weatherproofing.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to framing or structural adjustments, as needed.
- Utilize general handyman skills to complete miscellaneous repairs and in office tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or roofing is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidates.
- Familiarity with hand tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Experience with general handyman work or construction is considered an asset.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a variety of tasks and projects.
- Must be fluent in English.
Wages are based on experience and range from $18.00 to $40.00 per hour.
