· Recruitment & Hiring: Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs, manage job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, support selection decisions, and manage offers and pre-employment requirements.
· Manager & Department Support: Work closely with managers across the organization to provide practical HR guidance and support with staffing, employee matters, performance, attendance, and workplace issues.
· Employee Relations: Support managers in addressing employee concerns, performance issues, workplace conflicts, and other employee relations matters in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
· Onboarding: Coordinate the current-hire process and work with managers and payroll to ensure employees have a smooth and successful transition into the organization.
· HR Policies & Compliance: Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment requirements.
· Employee Experience: Build positive relationships with employees and managers and support initiatives that promote engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
· HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and documentation and support employment changes, reporting, and other HR processes.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with multiple teams and departments to understand business needs, identify people-related challenges, and provide HR solutions that support business objectives.
· HR Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and other HR processes to make the organization more efficient and effective.
· Other related duties as assigned by the CFO.
Requirements
· 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist or Human Resources experience, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-department environment. · Strong recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
· Proven experience working directly with department managers and supporting their staffing and people-related needs while understanding and supporting broader business needs.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust working relationships across all levels of the organization.
· Practical, solutions-oriented approach with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
· Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and HR best practices.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and recruitment requirements simultaneously.
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
· Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

· Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation or working towards CHRP is considered an asset.
