ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: I&C; ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR
At Team Power Solutions (TPS), we deliver innovative automation and control solutions that help our customers succeed. As the I&C; Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and technical professionals in delivering instrumentation and control (I&C;) projects from concept through completion. You'll drive engineering excellence, mentor and develop your team, build strong client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and oversee the execution of instrumentation and control engineering projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and customer expectations are met.
- Manage project planning, resource allocation, team workloads, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching,
and performance management for engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Conduct technical reviews, resolve complex engineering challenges, and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for new business and additional services.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and compliance with engineering standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Proven experience leading instrumentation and control (I&C;) engineering teams and delivering complex engineering projects.
- Strong project management, resource planning, and team leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent technical knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience supporting project profitability, customer satisfaction, and business development.
- A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science & Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diploma.
- Current P.Eng. designation (or eligibility).
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, technical expertise, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
