Mission
Industrial Mover / Rigger
Precision Rigging & Industrial Services is growing, and we’re looking for an Industrial Mover / Rigger to join our team.
If you have mechanical aptitude, millwright experience, rigging experience, or simply enjoy figuring out how to move, position, and install heavy equipment, we want to hear from you.
We specialize in challenging industrial projects where planning, problem-solving, precision, and teamwork are critical. No two jobs are exactly the same, and that’s what makes the work interesting.
What You'll Be Doing
- Rigging, moving, positioning, and setting industrial equipment
- Assisting with machinery installations and removals
- Working with cranes, forklifts, hydraulic equipment, skates, jacks, and other specialized equipment
- Assisting with mechanical disassembly and reassembly
- Safely loading, unloading, and securing equipment for transportation
- Helping plan and execute projects safely and efficiently
- Working on projects throughout the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland, and occasionally outside the area
Who We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is:
- Mechanically minded and enjoys figuring out how things work
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Experienced with rigging and industrial equipment or has millwright/mechanical experience
- Safety-focused and willing to speak up when something doesn't look right
- Physically capable of performing demanding industrial work
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to learn current skills and take direction
- Able to think ahead and solve problems in the field
- Professional when dealing with customers and other contractors
Experience
Preferred
- Millwright experience
- Rigging experience
- Heavy equipment moving experience
- Crane or hoisting experience
- Mechanical installation experience
- Experience working around industrial machinery
- Previous supervisory, foreman, crew-lead, or leadership experience in a related industry an asset
Tickets and certifications are an asset, including:
- Rigging certification
- Forklift
- OFA
- Fall protection
- Class 5 driver's licence

Pay: $26.00-$48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
