An Informatica IICS Developer specializes in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ensuring seamless data flow between cloud and on-premises systems

Key Responsibilities

- Design &
- Develop: Create data integration workflows, mappings, and taskflows in IICS for both batch and real-time data movement
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and objectives
- ETL Development: Build and optimize ETL jobs for high-volume data loads, migrations, and transformations, including SCD (Slowly Changing Dimension) logic
- Data Pipelines: Source, map, and code data transformations; integrate with cloud databases (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse) and on-premises systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)
- Performance Tuning: Optimize mappings, sessions, and workflows; analyze explain plans, statistics, and performance bottlenecks.
- Data Governance &
- Quality: Implement and manage data quality rules, governance policies, and security measures
- Support &
- Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues; enhance existing code to meet evolving requirements
- Documentation: Document processes, workflows, and best practices for ETL development
- Scheduling: Use tools like Control M or Automic to schedule and monitor workflows

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Experience: 7-9 years in data integration using IICS/IDMC or Informatica PowerCenter
- Technical Skills:




- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC and PowerCenter.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises databases.
- Familiarity with ETL design patterns, dimensional modeling, and SCD logic.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams
