Role Description The Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in King City, ON, focused on helping clients understand and select appropriate insurance and savings products. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with prospective and existing clients, assessing their coverage needs, and recommending solutions across auto, home, life, health, and business insurance. The role involves generating new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community engagement, as well as following up on leads and maintaining a sales pipeline.

The Insurance

Agent will prepare quotes, process applications, complete policy changes, and ensure accurate documentation in line with regulatory and company standards.



The position also includes delivering responsive customer service, handling inquiries and claims-related questions, and collaborating with team members to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with a focus on understanding coverage options and matching products to client needs.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage or similar advisory environments, including familiarity with multiple lines of personal and commercial insurance.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance to explain premiums, deductibles, risk, and savings solutions in clear, accessible terms.
- Robust Customer Service capabilities, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Valid provincial insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one) and commitment to ongoing professional development and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and work well in a team setting.
- Comfort with sales targets, prospecting, and using CRM or agency management systems; proficiency with standard office software.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage multiple client files and priorities.
- Previous experience in an insurance agency, financial services, or related field is an asset; post-secondary education in business or a related discipline is beneficial.
- Must carry or obtain OTL and LLQP
