Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Richmond, BC in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with the production, installation, and sales teams to create functional and aesthetically compelling interior environments that integrate DSG’s moulding and wall systems. Daily responsibilities include developing interior concepts, preparing layout plans and design presentations, selecting finishes and materials, and coordinating mouldings and architectural elements with interior schemes. The role involves producing or reviewing construction drawings,



ensuring design details align with manufacturing capabilities, and supporting the installation team with clear documentation.

The Interior

Designer will also participate in client meetings, gather requirements, provide design recommendations that reflect DSG’s product offerings, and help maintain consistency with brand and quality standards across residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

- Solid Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, visually cohesive layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and building systems to effectively integrate mouldings and wall systems into overall design concepts.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related documentation for manufacturing and installation.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and coordination to complement DSG’s products.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Strong visual presentation, communication, and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with architectural mouldings, wall systems, or construction environments is an asset.
