CFMWS employees deliver programs and services including recreation, sports and fitness programs, customized financial services, retail services, access to retail savings and discounts and offers family support and organizes charity events.

SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.
THE ROLE The Financial Security Advisor, Life Insurance and Investment Funds develops a personal business plan to ensure effective management of existing client and partner relationships with the outcome to transition clients to a state of financial security and health. You develop and manage the business plan,
establish strategies and goals including business and partner development activities and marketing campaigns in collaboration with management in assigned territories. You travel to nearby bases/wings/units to deliver presentations, deepen partner relationships and develop and retain client relationships with CAF members.
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and life insurance license (Ontario) Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) OR Personal Financial Planner® (PFP) Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), an asset In the provision of financial planning and investment services In building relationships with clients In providing investment advice In preparing written financial plans In the provision of life and disability insurance services RESPONSIBILITIES Travel to Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) to deliver presentations, deepen partner relationships and develop and retain client relationships with CAF members. Develop and deepen understanding of client goals, needs and overall financial situation through comprehensive client discovery, including data gathering and analysis, identification of options, development of recommendations, creation/implementation of financial action plan, and ongoing evaluation of revision of the Plan.
Manage provision of investment advice to support the client’s Financial Plan and strategy, including regular monitoring of client investment portfolios, and adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
Complete Insurance Needs
Analysis and recommendation to enroll members in an insurance solution aligned with their needs.
OTHER INFORMATION Language Requirement: English or French Essential Bilingual (English and French) an asset Writing: This is an on-site position with an assigned work location. The employee must be able to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.
Salary plus Employee Performance Plan.
