Role Description This is a full-time Analyst position based in Toronto, Ontario. The role is suited to a recent graduate or a candidate with up to two years of relevant experience who is interested in pursuing a career in finance and wants to develop their knowledge of corporate finance, financial modelling,



and valuation analysis. You will gain exposure to a variety of transactions across a wide range of industries.

Primary responsibilities include

- Financial modelling of clients' businesses and potential acquisition targets
- Creating industry research reports
- Preparation of pitches to win new business
- Performing various valuation analyses
- Identifying potential strategic and financial buyers, investors, and targets for client businesses
- Preparation of confidential information memoranda and management presentations
- Assisting with marketing and business development activities

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a similar field
- Up to two years of relevant experience; recent graduates with co-op or internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation concepts
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and specifically Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hard-working, motivated, and willing to learn
- Entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently to complete tasks
- Experience working with CapitalIQ is considered an asset
