Position Summary: The IT Data Developer - Student will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of the company's data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities. Reporting to the Manager, Data & Integration, this will gain hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics, BI development, and data governance.

Location : Dartmouth, NS

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data pipelines
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Assist with dashboard and reporting development.
- Support data validation, testing, and data quality activities.
- Create and maintain technical and business documentation.

Qualifications

- Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn quickly.
- Experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with Python, Spark, Power BI, or AI tools is considered an asset.
