We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java and up-to-date backend technologies, a strong understanding of system architecture and design principles, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications and services.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 17 or later).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience with Git version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
- Understanding of application security best practices, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication.
- Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical enterprise systems.
