Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Mechanic Heavy Duty to join our maintenance team.

Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on heavy equipment (trucks and trailers).

- Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including engine overhauls, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and hydraulic system servicing.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery components accurately.

- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a valid Journeyman certification or equivalent qualification.

- Extensive dealership experience preferred.

- Proficiency in using hand tools,



power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex issues.

- Experience working with schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical systems.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or maintenance tasks.

- Red Seal an asset

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about repair needs or technical issues.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
