Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Welder or Apprentice Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of welding techniques and mechanical skills. Whether you’re an experienced Journeyman or an eager Apprentice, you will play a vital part in fabricating, assembling, and repairing on a variety of projects with precision and safety.

This paid position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, We are dedicated to quality craftsmanship and continuous learning.

Duties

- Perform welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and plasma cutting techniques to create strong, durable metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Operate lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts for rigging and moving heavy materials safely.
- Conduct mechanical tasks including rigging, assembly, ductwork fabrication, and installation in manufacturing or construction settings.
- Use schematics and blueprint reading skills to troubleshoot issues, make precise adjustments, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols,



inspecting tools and equipment regularly, and reporting hazards promptly.
- This position can require Field and Camp work

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and plasma cutting techniques with a strong focus on quality welds.
- Mechanical knowledge including rigging, machining, assembly
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication.
- Experience with forklift operation for material handling and rigging tasks.
- Knowledge of construction practices including safety procedures related to welding and heavy equipment operation.
