Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will work in a fast-paced setting maintaining a fleet of school buses. SOUTHLAND offers a state-of-the-art environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for this position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
Currently hiring for night shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am). Wage: $43.26 per hour
class 2 license considered an asset
- Pre-employment drug testing
- Clear criminal record
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Own hand tools
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Gasoline and propane-powered equipment experience an asset
- Computer skills
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Ongoing maintenance/repair of school buses
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
- Respond to breakdowns
- Spring and winter maintenance
- Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs
