Junior Accounting Associate (Part time, Hybrid)

Track Accounting Inc. is hiring a Junior Accounting Associate to join our team from September to April. This role is designed to train you thoroughly for the Canadian personal tax season while giving you hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST/HST, payroll, corporate tax, and client support.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assist with T1 personal tax returns (primary focus during tax season).
- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Support GST/HST filings, payroll, and corporate tax preparation.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Respond to client emails, follow up on documents, and assist with administrative tasks.
- Use Excel, Profile Tax Software, and AI tools to improve workflow and productivity.

Requirements
- Basic accounting knowledge (student or graduate in Accounting/Commerce preferred).




- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel is an asset.
- Familiarity with Profile Tax Software is a plus (training provided).
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT/Copilot) for research and productivity.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Position Details
- Pay: $18–20/hour.
- Schedule: Part-time (15–25 hours/week depending on season).
- Work Model: Hybrid (remote + in-office).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build practical experience in Canadian tax and accounting before and during tax season. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
