We are looking for a Kitchen Designer – Sales to join our showroom team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in the kitchen and cabinetry industry while helping homeowners create beautiful, functional spaces they will enjoy for years to come.

Direct experience in kitchen design or cabinetry is an asset, but it is not required. We are open to candidates with transferable experience from design, retail sales, showrooms, home improvement, construction, project coordination, customer service, or other client-focused environments.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will guide clients through the exciting process of planning their new kitchen, from the first conversation to the final design and order to installation.

You will

- Welcome clients into the showroom and learn about their vision, lifestyle, needs, and budget
- Build trusted relationships and help clients feel confident throughout the design process
- Create attractive, functional kitchen layouts using 2020 Design software
- Guide clients through cabinetry styles, colours, finishes, hardware, countertops, and other selections
- Meet customers on site for consultations to discuss the functionality of cabinets, vanities, wardrobes, Mudrooms, laundry etc
- Prepare and present designs, product options and quotes
- Revise designs based on client feedback and changing project requirements




- Review measurements, specifications, pricing, and order information for accuracy
- Coordinate project details and communicate with clients, suppliers, installers, and team members
- Follow up with clients and maintain organized, up-to-date project files
- Support showroom presentation and stay current on products and design trends
- Help turn client ideas into beautiful kitchens

Who we’re looking for: You may already have experience in kitchen design, or you may be ready to bring your talents into an exciting new industry.

You could be a great fit if you have experience in any of the following:

- Showroom, retail, furniture, flooring, tile, lighting, plumbing, or home-improvement sales
- Interior decorating, space planning, home staging, or residential design
- Construction, renovation, cabinetry, millwork, or building materials
- Project coordination, order management, or customer service
- Consultative sales involving customized or detailed purchases
- Design programs such as 2020 Design, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, or similar software

Most importantly, you are:

- Friendly and confident when working one-on-one with clients
- Interested and excited to learn about kitchen design and cabinetry
- Organized and able to manage several client projects at different stages




- Detail-oriented, especially when working with measurements, pricing, and orders
- Comfortable discussing budgets and helping clients make purchasing decisions
- A strong communicator who follows through on commitments
- Comfortable learning new products, systems, and software
- Collaborative, positive, and willing to contribute wherever needed

Experience and qualifications

- Client-facing sales, customer service, showroom, design, or project coordination experience is preferred
- Kitchen design or cabinetry experience is an asset, but not required
- Post secondary education in Interior Design considered an asset
- Knowledge of softwares in cabinet design Industry such as 2020 design, Cabinet Vision, MOZAIC considered an asset
- Experience with 2020 Design software is a strong asset; experience with comparable design software is also welcome
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
- A valid driver’s licence and ability to visit project sites, if required
