We're looking for an amazing, high-energy morning person with strong leadership skills to join our OEB Breakfast Co. – West Vancouver team as a Kitchen Supervisor! If you thrive in early mornings, love rapid-paced kitchens, and want to lead a team while staying hands-on, this could be the role for you.

Position Details

- Full-time position
- Early morning start (5:00–7:00 AM), finishing in the afternoon
- Hybrid role: kitchen supervision + prep cooking + line cooking
- Wage: $23–$27/hour (base hourly wage $20–$21, plus $3–$6/hour in tips)

About the Role After training, you'll be responsible for:

- Opening the kitchen and setting the team up for a successful day
- Supervising and coordinating a team of cooks during shift
- Managing kitchen workflow to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Preparing key items for service and supporting line service during busy breakfast hours
- Collaborating with front of house to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction
- Placing orders and managing inventory to keep the kitchen fully stocked
- Acting as a shift lead during closing

Long-term, this role can grow into:
- Leading a team of 3–8 cooks on the Chef's days off




- Taking on additional supervisory and operational responsibilities

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 1–2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience prepping and cooking food items using different tools and methods
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Comfortable managing inventory, placing orders, and coordinating with front of house
- Reliable transportation for early morning shifts
- Must live in West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Vancouver, or Burnaby, or be planning to relocate

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
