Under the supervision of the supervisor, the Assistant Analyst performs a variety of analyses using different analytical techniques and instruments. The role requires strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable pharmacopeias.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and clean laboratory equipment for analysts according to daily reports
- Check expiration dates and dispose of expired solutions
- Perform stock rotation according to expiration dates
- Keep the inventory of reagents up to date and place them in their designated locations for use
- Assist in media preparation and label qualified batches




- Prepare materials for sterilization (e.g., tubes, pipettes, paper towels, etc.)
- Prepare solutions for the department
- File documents as needed
- Comply with laboratory safety and hygiene rules
- Notify the supervisor of any deviations, incidents in the laboratory, or equipment malfunctions
- Follow SOPs and GMPs related to the work
- Perform any other related tasks as required

Profile Sought

- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar position (an asset)
- Work experience in a regulated environment (GMP) (an asset)
- Laboratory experience (an asset)
- Team spirit
- Resourcefulness
- Meticulousness and accuracy
- French(spoken, read, written);English(read and written)
