Wage: $24.34/ hour (salary increases per company policy)

Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time (40-60 hours/week, 8–12-hour days, weather-dependent), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and work on holidays may be required.

Job requirements

Language: Basic English

Experience: 3 seasons of related experience.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads (Up to 23kg (50lbs)), Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Working under Pressure, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks

Equipment and Machinery Used: Tractor, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger, Lawn mowers, Shovel

Duties

- Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
- Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, and perform other
- Maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor
- Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
- Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns, and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments
- Assist the foreman with the tree planting according to planting standards
- Assist the foreman with mentoring new workers and safety standards
