In Shape Landscape is looking for landscaping/gardening labourers to start as soon as possible. We are a small maintenance/ landscaping company that serves strata, commercial, and residential clients in the North Vancouver and surrounding areas. Wage depends on experience, and there could be an opportunity for a supervisor/foreperson position for individuals with experience in this field.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who can commit to working until the off-season in December (and coming back in February). We are looking for workers who take pride in their work, go the extra mile in ensuring quality service, and are interested in learning about plant varieties and proper gardening techniques. Generally, we work Monday to Friday, but there may be occasional Saturdays as well.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Trimming and cutting lawns
- Weeding, cultivating, and raking
- Pruning, planting, lawn installation, and seasonal yard cleanups
- Operating a variety of hand tools and equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, weed whackers, etc.)
- Any experience with hardscaping is an asset, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,



with problem solving skills, quick thinking, and eagerness to learn

Qualifications and Competencies:

- A minimum of one year of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual
- A valid driver’s licence is required and ability to drive a truck
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and have appropriate outdoor gear( some gear can be provided )
- Must be able to perform fast-paced, physical labour (including heavy lifting)
- Professional demeanour with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality work
- Strong work ethic and interest in learning about plant varieties, proper garden care, etc.
- Must be comfortable with heights and working on ladders

Salary

- $25-$28 an hour plus 4% vacation pay
- Part-time to full-time hours
