Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Team Lead to join our team and contribute to the construction and maintenance outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, and public landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be eager to develop skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance.

Duties

- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Maintain existing landscapes
- Support construction activities related to landscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency




- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Lead employees while foreman is not around

Qualifications

- Prior experience with landscaping is required
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment like excavators and power tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and general construction practices is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials as needed
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to landscaping projects
- Robust work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods

This position offers an opportunity for growth within the landscaping industry for motivated individuals eager to expand their skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape maintenance. Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
