Position Overview
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be an essential part of bringing our puzzles to life. This is a hands-on production role focused on operating our laser-cutting equipment safely and carefully to create high-quality wooden puzzles.
You’ll prepare materials, monitor cutting jobs, inspect work for quality and accuracy, and help keep our equipment and workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll work both independently and alongside the rest of our Production Department to meet daily priorities and production goals.
The ideal candidate takes pride in careful, consistent work and enjoys the satisfaction of creating high-quality physical products.
You don’t need previous laser-cutting experience, but you should be comfortable learning to work with tools, machinery, production software, and detailed safety procedures.
Puzzle Lab is a growing company, and many of our systems and processes continue to evolve. We ask that new team members first learn and feel confident in our current ways of working. Once you’re settled, your feedback and ideas for improvement are genuinely welcome.
We’re a collaborative, evolving team, and responsibilities may shift gradually as you grow into the role and as the company grows. Any changes are always communicated clearly, and where appropriate, terms of employment are reviewed together.
