Residential & Commercial HVAC Ductwork Installer

Cool Air HVAC is Hiring!

Cool Air HVAC is currently seeking a full-time Residential & Commercial HVAC Ductwork Installer to join our team.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking installer with experience installing ductwork and HVAC systems in new construction, renovations, residential, and light commercial applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Install residential and commercial HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Install supply and return air ductwork, plenums, transitions, fittings, boots, grilles, and registers.
- Install furnaces, air handlers, HRVs/ERVs, exhaust fans, and related HVAC equipment.
- Measure, lay out, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork.
- Read and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Perform duct modifications and alterations on existing HVAC systems.
- Install spiral duct, rectangular duct, flex duct, and other ventilation products as required.
- Properly seal, support, and insulate ductwork.
- Coordinate installations with other trades and contractors on job sites.
- Ensure installations meet applicable building codes, mechanical codes, and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Complete required job paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, contractors, and other trades.
- Assist with HVAC equipment installation and start-up when required.
- Perform other HVAC installation duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous HVAC ductwork or sheet metal installation experience preferred.




- Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC installations is an asset.
- Ability to measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints is an asset.
- Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and materials and performing installation work.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in mechanical rooms, basements, crawl spaces, and construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence required.

Position Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available as required
