Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 CGSB (Canadian General Standards Board) Certified Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform precise non-destructive inspections on various manufacturing components to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity and safety of critical structures and equipment by identifying surface and subsurface flaws.

Duties

- Conduct Level 2 CGSB-certified magnetic particle (MT) and penetrant (PT) testing on manufactured parts, welds, and assemblies following established procedures and standards.
- Perform detailed visual inspections complemented by non-destructive testing techniques to detect surface and near-surface defects.
- Collect, analyze, and document inspection data accurately using calipers,



gauges, and other measurement tools to support quality control processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality management systems, ensuring all testing activities meet industry standards for quality assurance (QA/QC).
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify potential quality issues early in the production process and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and updating inspection procedures, ensuring compliance with CGSB certifications and industry best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights into defect trends and contributing to process enhancements for better quality outcomes.
