About the position:

Lighting Crew members ensure equipment is accurately pulled, shipped, received, and tested for quality and safety in a timely and efficient manner. This customer-facing role plays an integral part in delivering exceptional service and reinforcing the Company as the supplier of choice.

We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail who enjoys testing equipment, has an interest in lighting technology and electrical systems, and takes pride in ensuring equipment is safe, functional, and ready for client use. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building positive relationships with clients through outstanding customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

- Receive and process orders with care, in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Complete testing of lighting equipment following established MBS procedures and Best Practices.
- Once tested and confirmed fully operational, coil applicable cables, clean equipment, and place into appropriate storage locations.
- Proactively identify and communicate operational issues and opportunities for improvement, including equipment condition, barcode accuracy, internal communication, documentation, and customer service processes.
- Maintain working knowledge of lighting equipment, including current and legacy products, their applications, and storage locations.
- Complete work assignments and special projects as delegated by Department Head or 2nd Department Head.
- Build rapport with customers, maintaining positive disposition and high standards of customer service.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including processing areas, walkways, and shelving, in accordance with housekeeping and safety standards.
- Adherence to Health and Safety policies and regulations, including but not limited to WHMIS,



safe operation of equipment where applicable, electrical safety, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and PPE.

We are looking for candidates who have:

- Previous experience in customer service.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job; maneuver awkward rental gear and able to lift more than 50 lbs. (training provided on proper lifting techniques).
- Can demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Enjoys working as a team.
- Uses good decision-making ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, and available to do overtime, including evenings and weekends, to support client needs as needed.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and safe operation of equipment (training provided)
