The Port Credit Yacht Club is a private boating club open 12 months of the year and located on the Lake Ontario shoreline at Lakefront Promenade Park in Mississauga.

We are a Red Seal kitchen, apprentice cooks are most welcome.

We are hiring Line Cooks to prepare food to the Chef's specifications and to set up stations for our outlet menus. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chefs with their daily tasks and running of the food operations within the Club, including functions. Successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Set up and stocking of various kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff




- Following executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up of stations and taking care of leftover food
- Stocking inventory appropriately
- Assisting with banquet and member functions and events
- Ensuring that prepared food items are of high quality and produced in a timely fashion
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
