Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and diner standards
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and other menu items
- Ensure food is cooked properly and presented consistently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Properly store and rotate food and ingredients
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
- Work efficiently during busy periods
- Communicate and work effectively with servers and other kitchen staff
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an asset
- Experience in a diner, restaurant, or fast-paced kitchen is preferred
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
