Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining a positive attitude
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers, following health regulations and safety guidelines
- Collaborate closely with servers to deliver timely and accurate food service to guests




- Follow all sanitation procedures, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues during service
- Previous experience with serving or customer interaction is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
