Logistics Coordinator
Innofoods Group is a Global Food production facility in high-end luxury snack industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring timely shipments, smooth import processes, and effective coordination across teams and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outbound shipments from multiple facilities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and address any delivery delays or issue
- Serve as the primary logistics contact between warehouses, carriers, and customs brokers (including after-hours support as needed)
- Coordinate and manage inbound shipments for machinery, equipment, and non-ingredient goods, including documentation and coordination
- Maintain freight databases and analyze costs and shipping volumes to support logistics strategy
- Negotiate freight rates and build strong relationships with logistics service providers
- Review and validate freight invoices for accuracy before forwarding to accounting
- Verify customs duties and oversee reimbursement processes
- Provide freight quotes and shipping support to the sales team
- Monitor retail customer orders (e.g., Aldi) and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and payments
- Share logistics-related updates with other departments as needed
- Support general logistics operations and complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
- Plan daily and weekly outbound shipments; communicate schedules with warehouse and carrier teams
- Liaise with customs brokers and ensure proper payment and recording of customs duties
- Review and approve freight invoices prior to submission to the accounting team
- Update freight rate databases regularly; assist with cost analysis and logistics planning
- Negotiate shipping rates and maintain relationships with key logistics partners
- Provide accurate freight estimates to the sales and pricing teams upon request
- Track key retail orders (e.g., Aldi) and work with AR to ensure prompt payments
- Conduct initial reviews of HS codes to minimize the risk of customs clearance delays, additional duties, or penalties resulting from incorrect classifications"
- Review the assigned HS codes by referencing product descriptions and historical classifications to ensure accuracy"
- Coordinate with customs brokers or compliance experts to make necessary corrections"
- Respond to logistics-related questions or requests from other departments
- Perform other logistics tasks as directed by the manager
Qualifications
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination role
- Basic understanding of logistics, supply chain, or business operations
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with working with carriers, customs brokers, or third-party logistics (3PL) partners
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Korean is an asset
Job Type: Full time Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
