Dispatcher – Canada/US Cross-Border

Jagjot Express is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team.

The right candidate should have experience with Canada/US cross-border transportation, including both FTL and LTL shipments, and be comfortable handling day-to-day communication with drivers, customers, warehouses, and brokers.

Responsibilities

- Dispatch Canada/US cross-border FTL and LTL loads
- Plan and manage US routes efficiently
- Communicate with drivers throughout their trips
- Provide customers and brokers with pickup and delivery updates
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
- Complete portal bookings with customers/receivers such as PFG, UNFI, KeHE, and similar facilities
- rack loads and follow up on delays, missed appointments, breakdowns, or other issues
- Coordinate with warehouses, customers, brokers, and drivers to resolve problems
- Handle after-hours calls and urgent situations when required
- Keep dispatch information and load updates accurate and organized

Requirements





- Previous truck dispatch experience is required
- Experience with Canada/US cross-border freight
- Experience dispatching FTL and LTL
- Valuable understanding of US routing and geography
- Experience booking appointments through customer/warehouse portals
- Strong communication skills with drivers and customers
- Able to stay organized while handling multiple loads at the same time
- Able to work independently and make decisions when issues come up
- Must understand that transportation is a 24/7 operation and some after-hours availability will be required

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, takes initiative, and understands what it takes to keep trucks moving and customers updated. Pay: $50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
