0.8 FTE Mother St. Bride –

- Primary/Junior Prep - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

0.2 FTE St. Theresa –
- Primary Prep - Friday

Effective September 2, 2026 and not to extend beyond June 30, 2027

Mandatory Requirements

- Basic qualifications to teach in the Primary and Junior Divisions

Preferred Requirements

- Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the above division
- Repertoire of current instructional and assessment strategies
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team workplace
- Understanding of the Ontario Curriculum, the Ontario Kindergarten Program (2016) and effective strategies to teach Literacy and Numeracy
- Knowledge and experience in supporting comprehensive (structured) literacy and the use of student data to drive instruction.
- Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Google Meet as well as additional G-Suite digital tools and EDSBY, to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents
- Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies
- Commitment to being an active participant in the school's professional learning team to promote student achievement
- Willingness to actively assume extra-curricular duties
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school environment would be an asset
- Additional qualifications in Special Education would be an asset
