The Opportunity:

Onex is seeking a Manager to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) team. Reporting to the Vice President, FP&A;, the Manager will lead key planning, forecasting and reporting activities and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. The role offers significant exposure to senior management and requires strong financial acumen, sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The Manager will work closely with the broader FP&A; and Corporate Finance teams and stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Long-Term Financial Model Ownership

- Own Onex' long-term corporate financial model, integrating fee-related earnings, investment income, capital deployment and balance sheet projections.
- Maintain assumptions and stress-test fundraising, deployment, realization and market scenarios to support capital allocation and strategic planning.
- Refine the model as fund structures, investment strategies and business requirements evolve.

Investing Capital Schedule Ownership

- Own Onex' investing capital schedule, tracking committed, deployed and available capital across funds and strategies.
- Monitor capital availability and funding requirements and advise on allocation priorities.
- Calculate investment returns, including IRR and MOIC, and assess performance against relevant benchmarks.

Corporate Planning and Forecasting

- Manage annual revenue budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop assumptions, challenge inputs and ensure forecasts reflect expected performance.
- Own fundraising actuals and forecasts, tracking performance against targets, pipeline and expected closes.
- Conduct scenario analysis and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.

Strategic and Ad Hoc Analysis

- Lead financial analyses supporting strategic initiatives, business planning and senior management decisions.
- Evaluate business performance,



trends, risks and opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
- Prepare analyses and presentations for senior leadership.

Investor Relations and External Reporting

- Prepare financial materials for external reporting, investor communications and presentations.
- Coordinate quarterly reporting and public disclosures, ensuring financial information is accurate and consistent.

Process Improvement and Technology Enablement

- Improve reporting, data quality, controls and efficiency through automation and technology.
- Leverage Excel and Power BI for financial modeling, reporting, dashboards and business insights.
- Implement AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability.

Team and Stakeholder Leadership

- Direct and develop a junior team member, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Build strong relationships across the organization as a trusted finance partner.
- Manage multiple priorities and workstreams and contribute to broader FP&A; and Corporate Finance initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
- CFA designation or progress toward it is an asset; CPA is not required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A;, investment banking, M&A;, transaction advisory or private equity, with demonstrated progression.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including LBO, DCF and/or corporate models, with advanced Excel proficiency; Power BI is preferred.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to independently manage complex analyses and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership and sound judgment; experience mentoring junior team members and using AI or automation tools is an asset.

Additional information:

The expected base salary range is C$115,000 - $135,000 on an annualized basis, plus eligibility for variable compensation. This position is for a current vacancy.
