Manage the Engineering Statement of Work Manage the engineering budget and spend for the department Participate in management meetings and organize departmental governance. Communicate effectively and support decisions and messages to and from management Ensure that the management system is in place to organize and control the tasks and the priorities, with appropriate levels of visibility to issues and risks and associated mitigation plan. Support employees to enable them to reach their goals and deliverables by providing coaching, mentoring and training both for technical and soft skills.
Responsible for deployment of Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. Aerospace specialty is an asset. You have a minimum of 20 years of experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the Aerospace industry with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
You have knowledge of design tools You have strong people management and leadership qualities with an ability to mobilize and foster an workplace of teamwork within cross-functional teams facilitating discussions and resolving issues to meet the business objectives. You have demonstrated leadership behaviors that support putting people first, work in teams, value teamwork, and drive for performance excellence while exhibiting a winning attitude. You must be fluent in English and French.
