MANAGER, TAX AND TREASURY– OREZONE GOLD CORPORATION

Location: Vancouver, BC

Reports to: Director, Finance

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is an exciting opportunity to join an international, multi-asset operating mining company, led by an experienced management team and will provide opportunities for a candidate to work alongside and be part of a dynamic finance team.

The Tax and Treasury Manager will be key in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax and insurance compliance, strong internal controls, and efficient financial operations across the organization. You’ll support the day-to-day treasury and tax functions, and the month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, and help drive continuous improvement across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys complex multi‑entity accounting, and desires to contribute to the success of the Company.

The Tax and Treasury Manager will report to the Director, Finance and work closely with the site-based finance teams located in Québec and West Africa to deliver relevant and accurate financial information to assist management in its direction and oversight of the Company’s Casa Berardi Gold Mine (“Casa Berardi”) and Bomboré Gold Mine (“Bomboré”).

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Orezone is a diversified mining company with established mining operations in Canada and West Africa. The Company owns 85% of the Bomboré gold mine in Burkina Faso and 100% of the Casa Berardi gold mine in Quebec, Canada. Orezone’s near-term strategy is to become a mid-tier gold producer by executing on growth opportunities at its mines and exploration properties, and by pursuing further accretive acquisitions where the Company’s expertise in mine operations and development can unlock value.

At Bomboré, the mine has been in production since December 2022 and produced 110,014 gold oz in 2025. Bomboré declared commercial production on its new hard rock process plant on January 16, 2026, expanding gold production from the processing of hard rock mineral reserves in addition to its existing oxide operations.

At Casa Berardi, the Company completed the acquisition of the mine and portfolio of Quebec exploration properties on March 25, 2026. The Casa Berardi mine produced 91,160 oz of gold in 2025 and over 3.2 million oz since inception. The mine benefits from a well established resource and reserve base which, with a renewed focus on exploration and underground mine optimization, the Company aims to return annual production to the historical levels of 140,000 - 150,000 oz per year.





Orezone is led by an experienced team focused on social responsibility and sustainability with a proven track record in project construction and operations, financings, capital markets and M&A.; The Company is a publicly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) and Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) under the symbol ORE, and trades on the OTCQX under the symbol ORZCF.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting

· Assist in the preparation of corporate income tax returns and supporting working papers.

· Assist in the preparation of quarterly current and deferred income tax provisions and rate reconciliations.

· Review quarterly commodity tax filings.

· Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting and covenant calculations for the metal streams.

· Assist in the preparation and compilation of supporting working papers and information to facilitate the timely renewal of corporate and mine site insurance policies.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue working papers and reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of gold and silver sales.

· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a consolidated cash forecast through collaboration with mine sites.

· Assist in the preparation and calculation of provincial mining duties, foreign affiliate surplus calculations, and tracking of Canadian Exploration Expenses (CEE) and Canadian Development Expenses (CDE).

· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities including:

- Analyzing, investigating and documenting variances;
- Review of applicable corporate and subsidiary working papers, reconciliations, and support; and,
- Planning, and collaborating with staff resources and activities as required to ensure work is performed to a high standard and within set deadlines.

· Prepare and review applicable journal entries, reconciliations, financial models, and consolidation schedules. · Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

External Audit Support

· Be a key point of contact for CRA or provincial tax auditors by compiling requests and responses to ensure deliverables are provided in a timely manner and deadlines are met.





· Collaborate with the Orezone finance team in the preparation and delivery of audit support and responses to applicable questions.

Internal Controls & Compliance

· Assist as applicable in ensuring compliance with TSX, ASX, and other regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.

· Contribute to the company’s strong internal control environment through supporting the internal audit function with maintaining and enhancing internal controls, processes, and documentation.

Teamwork

· Contribute to the professional development of our people and processes at corporate and the site teams as we strive to improve timeliness and quality of internal reporting.

· Liaise effectively with other departments (both at corporate and at site) to ensure issues with an tax, treasury, or accounting impact are brought to the attention of the accounting team on a timely basis.

· Facilitate a team-oriented and productive working environment and communicating transparently to ensure achievement of individual and Company objectives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment. Specific skills, knowledge and experience include:

· CPA designated accountant with 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, treasury, or public accounting, with preference given to individuals with a strong familiarity with the mining sector and Canadian tax;

· Expertise with IFRS and Canadian Tax to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards when preparing and/or reviewing external financial reports and regulatory documents;

· Experience with financial systems and Canadian tax software, particularly Sage accounting software and Corporate Taxprep, would be beneficial;

· Excellent communicator (verbal and written) in English, including preparation and presentation of materials to senior management;

· Superior analytical skills, including expertise in Excel and ability to balance detail orientation with understanding and presenting summary findings;

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple areas, produce quality work and meet competing deadlines;

· French language skills would be highly beneficial; and

· Team player who puts emphasis on collaboration with colleagues and mentoring and is willing to assist teammates when required.

REMUNERATION

Salary will be commensurate with experience plus extended health benefits, and participation in the Company’s annual bonus and long-term share-based compensation plans.

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
