Job Summary

We are seeking passionate, patient, and dedicated Part-Time Math Teachers to join our educational team. We are currently looking for teachers who are qualified and comfortable teaching mathematics at the elementary and middle/secondary school levels.

The successful candidates will deliver engaging and effective math lessons, help students build confidence, and develop a robust understanding of mathematical concepts. You will work with students of different grade levels and learning abilities, using clear explanations and effective teaching strategies to support their academic growth.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver engaging and effective math lessons for elementary and/or middle/secondary school students.
- Teach mathematical concepts clearly using a variety of teaching methods.
- Help students strengthen their problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
- Support students with homework, assignments, test preparation, and challenging mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and learning styles of individual students.
- Create a positive, supportive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and colleagues when required.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, practice exercises,



and assessments as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or educational experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics appropriate for elementary and/or middle/secondary school levels.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging way.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, responsible, reliable, and passionate about education.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with students of different learning abilities is an asset.
- A valid teaching certificate or eligibility to teach in British Columbia is an asset but not required.
