- Responsible, quiet, and respectful of other people's homes and rules.
- Handy with general plumbing knowledge and all aspects of property maintenance, including basic repairs, painting, drywall, lawn care, snow removal, garden maintenance, and coordinating contractors when needed.
- Background in Security and IT, comfortable with basic security systems, cameras, access control, networking, and troubleshooting related equipment.
- We are non-smokers, non-drinkers, clean living food, and keep a stable home environment. What we are looking for:
- A small, self-contained dwelling for our family on your property (for example, a cabin, suite, tiny home, laneway house, basement suite, or similar).




- An arrangement such as reduced rent in exchange for a set number of caretaking hours per week, or paid work (hourly or salary) with housing included.
- Preferred area: Comox Valley, but we are open to opportunities anywhere on Vancouver Island.
- Term length is flexible and can be discussed to suit both parties. What I can offer:
