Serv-A-Yard is looking to grow our team with an experienced agricultural mechanic. This position is responsible for servicing all company equipment which includes a variety of farm equipment. We are looking for a team player to contribute to our growing family.

- Pay: $27 to $35 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications:
- 1-5 years experience in farm equipment repair
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 an asset
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract a requirement

Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting vehicle and equipment inspections and reporting any problems
- Diagnose or troubleshoot equipment issues and perform appropriate repairs
- Performing oil changes, tire repairs,



and general maintenance
- Using appropriate tools for repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Making sure tools and equipment are working well
- Complying with company and government regulations
- Properly disposing of used oil, radiator fluid, worn-out parts, and other components
- Using a computer or tablet for documentation and communication
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the company

Work Conditions:
- Primarily in a shop and yard environment, occasionally job sites or equipment location
- Occasional after hours as needed
- Extended periods of standing and bending
- Lifting awkward and/or heavy objects
- Working with solvents, lubricants and fuels
- Busy work environment with frequent interruptions
- Interaction with employees, management, and the public
